Chapter 4. How restlessness limits development of our analytical abilities

Non religious people often think that religion doesn’t affects their lives, but the belief that there is no afterlife, is the reason why some keep trying to get as much enjoyment as possible, ‘We have one life, and it’s short so enjoy it’. This hunger for enjoyment makes us restless which prevents us from developing the necessary skills to reach our divine energy. We learn how to build on other’s experiences instead of our own. Religion attributed a different meaning to the concept of negation, ‘don’t or not’, in order to make us obey, but religion is not the only system using this technique.

Religion led us to the idea that our perfection is not achievable in this life. This is why religious followers feel secure that they will get what they deserve in heaven. Religious systems steer people to prioritize worshipping over development of our analytical skills although analyzing is a skill we naturally have. When we are born, the first connection we make is usually with our parents, learning how to communicate. However, religion requires us to believe that there is an external deity that possesses more powerful energy than we do, we stop developing our analytical skills and our own divine energy, necessary to manifest what we want.

Why social constructs copied the idea of religion

We are in too much of a hurry, which makes it harder to understand ourselves. If we are not calm we overlook how many times we use negations on a daily basis. Excessive use of ‘don’t and not’ feeds our mind with worries and negative energy, it can make us stressed and prevents us from using our divine energy. If we are calm, we can see that we are not lacking anything and when we interpret the constructs of ‘Don’t and Not’ differently, it can teach us how we can grow and manifest as a Gods or Goddesses. Because we always build on others’ experiences, the social constructs copied the idea of religion, by using negations (don’t and not) in a negative way in our daily lives. You can start by counting how many times a day you say: I don’t know, or I don’t mind. We use these negations even when there are alternative ways to express the feeling. We could say: “I will think about it” or “I am okay with that.” Which would give a more positive message to our mind.

There is knowledge open to everyone to learn, but only in a way that there is no possibility to grow out of the social constructs. This makes it more difficult for us to choose who we want to be. Being calm and analyzing can make us capable to start thinking clearly for ourselves. The religious and social constructs tell us we are in a hurry, to make sure that we keep our eyes closed as much as possible. When following, we act without thinking. We accepted to stop analyzing and are following in return for what we are given by the religious or the social systems. But, how did this happen?

Fear of losing what we have

Sigmund Freud divided human consciousness into three levels of awareness: the conscious, preconscious, and unconscious. We understood that we cannot control what we are unconscious of which makes us anxious that our experience isn’t sufficient to build on. Humans like to have control over others, but we don’t prefer to be controlled ourselves. Analyzing gives us the power to share and give. Our limited choices increase the fear to lose what we have, always thinking about how to get more for our personal benefit instead of sharing with others. When we understand the idea of sharing then we are on our way to manage our divine energy.

Homo sapiens became the masters of the earth and our species is growing exponentially. Without certainty about how life started and where we are going after death a lot of time is spent thinking inside the box. Trying to figure out the propose of our life can be overwhelming. When we can’t find this purpose, we tend to give up and follow either the religious society or the consumer society, either way we are being wired to think that we lack time. So what if we are all gods and goddesses? The question if there is another life after death remains. Both questions are important to our development, but we don’t want to over think the possible answers, because keeping our minds in the unconscious level of Instincts gives us a sense of comfort. If we have a closer look at Abraham Maslow’s, hierarchy of human needs we can see that the bottom three are pure instinct. Only the top two are part of the perfection.

  • 1. Physiological: food, water, warmth and rest.
  • 2. Safety: personal and financial security, health and wellbeing.
  • 3. Social belonging: friendship, kinship and intimacy.
  • 4. Esteem: achievement, independence, respect and status.
  • 5. Self-actualization: the realization of personal potential through growth experiences.

The power of negation

The open source of knowledge that was established through the internet evolution, made it easier to understand more about the world. Still the unconscious part of the brain keeps pushing us towards our instincts, most of us take the way to understand by trying instead of analyzing.

We always assume a burn out is caused by being overworked and overwhelmed, but it’s often the effort we put into growing within a set limit and ignoring our actual capabilities that creates fatigue. We keep trying to either run away, or extend the life we have afraid to miss anything. The fear of it all ending before we ‘got enough’ is why our lives seem short, even though humans never lived to the average age we reach in current time.

Negative thinking allows the feeling of inadequacy, by not growing in our knowledge about what is next. By reaching our divine energy we can became a gods and goddesses through the life we already have.

A study in the Journal of Clinical Psychology explained that the effects of worrying increase the chances of failing at a simple task by 50%. Negative thinking damages the delicate balance of white and grey matter in the brain, which is essential for our brain to function properly.  Stress from negative thinking also creates changes in the brain that may affect your likelihood of mental disorders such as anxiety, depression. The Majority of our brain is subconscious , and with our brain being super-receptive to negatives , negative thoughts easily enter this part of the brain. 

What do we choose for ourselves?

Why are our cultures and lifestyles so different? Why are some successful and some not? We question everything. Still, the most important question remains: What do we choose for ourselves? We are unable to choose many things in life; where we are born, what our name is, who we are related to, sometimes even our future. We protect all these things we didn’t consciously choose. The mechanism of punishment (including religious systems) limits our choices by offering a sense of comfort for our obedience. But the way we think, is something we do choose for ourselves.

If we start analyzing to reflect on our choices, we might choose not to follow. But how can we make our own choices? If our next level is to be a God or goddess we need to own our choices, and let go of limiting these choices by what we call “the dream”. The dream of the impossible once was within our reach, but it became a dream because of the beliefs and ideas we are taught by social constructs. We convinced ourselves that there are limits to everything. To keep feeling satisfied with minor achievements. Yet, there is a thin thread between the dream and the truth, it’s faith in ourselves. Our belief in our own opinion and freedom of thought. Faith is the energy of Gods and goddesses which gives us power to manifest our goals. Understanding our divine energy takes going through stages of analyzing; Human, Leader, Messenger, King and God.
